Shelia started working at UTMB (University of Texas Medical Branch, School of Nursing, Multimedia Lab) as a WebCT developer and is responsible for creating on-line courses for the School of Nursing. She is currently working with Dr. Jean Sorrells-Jones developing a new Masters Nursing program in Leadership. (Welcome section still incomplete)

Tenaid - (now Now MNT)
Shelia worked as Sr. Technical Writer and Software Trainer for 1 year for Tenaid Technologies. She documented their version control for the software development of their product named PubPoint. This is a content mgmt. tool that enables web-novices to create their own web content, publish it, and manage multiple other aspects of their particular business. Shelia also wrote their training manuals as well as trained the receiving employees.
 Several of the companies that had custom applications of PubPoint were: Shell Energy, DNV Certification, Houston Downtown Alliance, and yes - Enron!
Tenaid was losing the contract with Enron with a large debt due, so Shelia and some other programmers went to Shell to finish their contract.

Shelia worked as Sr. Technical Writer for 3 years for Life Tech, Inc. While she was there, she wrote their technical manuals for all their urodymamic equipment, software, and hardware. She also designed the datasheets for these products.
The training material, ISO documentation, and product labeling was also part of her position there. Shelia worked in the Research and Development department and was part of the development team that developmented their Janus System 3 & 4 software for Urodynamic studies.
She left Life Tech for Tenaid - only because Tenaid offered her more web design work and more variety of manual development. And because the drive was about 1/2 the distance.
Shelia continues to have a working relationship even as of 2005 with Life-Tech and their Urodynamic Workshops.

Shelia has been doing my webpage for over 5 years now and business is great. The shopping cart was added two years ago and with the on-line credit card approval - all I have to do is fill the orders!
She has redesigned the site at least once annually - with a Fresh Look and feel. She also does monthly updates - to keep my products current and prices accurate.
I give her such greive some times - but she is always good hearted and jumps on my requests. Thank You Shelia - you have been a God-Send to a Web-Dummy like me!

The Viking Fest - www.vikingfest.com
Even though Shelia is on our Board of Directors, she totally volunteers her time and programming for the Viking Fest site. It is a vital link to our members and festival guests. The site sells our tshirts and raffle tickets, as well as dispenses the forms needed for participation.
She also keeps the advertisers and banners current and monitors the traffic to assure we are getting the hits needed.
Since 1996, Shelia has created a new look and theme to each festival. BRAVO - We would have to pay over $2500 annually for this active of a site.
 She is also our desktop publisher and grant writer. Our Newsletters, festival programs, and all press releases are designed and written by Shelia. THANKS MUCH for all you do!

We needed specials monthly, with photos and graphics. We also needed a sharp look to the site - that was always fresh. Shelia gave this to us. We have had her designing our site since 1995 and we are on our 5th or 6th look.
The salon is listed in the top of all the search engines and is listed as one of Houston's TOP 10 salons. We have Shelia to thank for this. She is always registering us with the latest search engines and allowing new clients to find us.
We are currently creating an online shopping cart and Shelia's expertise has proven invaluable. The success of our business hangs on every page of the site - and we are absolutely getting our monies worth.
